Miranda

And here is the second theme from my lingerie collection for Etam !
It was inspired by Miranda, a beautiful girl in the movie Picnic at Hanging Rock ( 1975 ). I particularly like the 1900 atmosphere, the lights and neutral colors.
The film takes place one day of saint valentine, just like today!
I designed comfortables pieces, and choosed a lovely silk blend, lace, tulle and grosgrain bows. I hope you’ll like it !
See you very soon for the final theme, which i warn you … will be very sexy !

Bernadette Pascua

We’re completely charmed by Bernadette Pascua‘s pencil and watercolor illustrations. Her work has been published in numerous magazines such as W, Vogue, and Glamour and soon, she will be launching an online shop selling her prints. I, for one, can’t wait to finally adorn one of my walls with her work. But in the meantime, I’ll continue to be inspired by her beautiful blog, Decade Diary . . .

Les Merveilleuses de Laduree

The Les Merveilleuses de Laduree Collection launched in Tokyo recently. This is a selection of incredibly lavish makeup inspired and brought to you by Laduree, yes, as in the creator of delicate Parisian macrons.
Pastries aren’t exactly in the realms of makeup but Laduree puts as much care, beauty, and sweetness in their new color collection as they would any of their decadent desserts.
Take a look!
Les Merveilleuses de Laduree Face Color Rose Laduree 7,350

Les Merveilleuses de Laduree Pressed Cheek Color 3,999
The collection is made up of 12 pieces which includes base products as well as accessories and color cosmetics. Obviously, the star of the show here, is the Les Merveilleuses de Laduree Face Color Rose Laduree which is a blush shaped as small rose petals!
I haven’t indulged. I was considering a purchase but word is we might actually see the collection stateside and within Europe in 2013. I’m a little skeptical but if it means the prices will be a bit lighter on my wallet I’m willing to wait considering that yen to USD is brutal at the moment. But looking at these images aren’t making things easy so I imagine I’ll cave soon!
What do you think of the collection?
Do share!
You can drool over the rest of the collection at www.lm-laduree.com

Raybans in White?

Maybe they’re not Raybans. Maybe they just kind of sort of look like them…I don’t know. Honestly, I am too wrapped up getting ready for fashion week to say anything terribly clever about these two and their style. I just liked them. Kinda quirky, kinda cool. No?
